Lincoln’s 402 Creamery sells out of Runza-themed ice cream flavor in minutes
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – It didn’t take long for 402 Creamery to sell out of its new Runza-themed ice cream flavor.
The Lincoln ice cream shop partnered with Runza to release a chili and cinnamon roll-flavored ice cream on Thursday.
Customers lined up around the block at 402 Creamery’s downtown location in an attempt to snag some ice cream.
In less than 20 minutes, 402 Creamery was out of stock.
Lincoln’s other 402 Creamery location near 56th Street and Pine Lake Road also sold out of the flavor in about 20 minutes.
For those who missed out, 402 Creamery said another batch of the Runza-themed flavor is in the works.
Within 4 min of opening, the 402 creamery in the Haymarket sold out of the Runza chili and cinnamon rolls ice cream pints. Within 15 min they sold out of the smaller sizes too. The south location sold out of all of their sizes within 20 min of opening. pic.twitter.com/46H9zIRcRL
