Lincoln ice cream joint unveils Runza-themed flavor

Cinnamon Roll and Chili Ice Cream

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — An interesting flavor of ice cream will soon be available at a local shop.

402 Creamery out of Lincoln has teased the new ice cream flavor, chili and cinnamon roll, in partnership with Runza Restaurants.

The popular ice cream shop says the Dream Midwest Collaboration will be available beginning Jan. 26.

Of course, the combo is a Nebraska tradition that recently received some attention from Food Network host Alton Brown when he untraditionally poured the chili on top of the cinnamon roll.

402 Creamery has several locations across Lincoln. You can find more at its website.
