Local teens hear from girl boss panel

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Some local high school girls received insight and advice from area professionals.
Those professionals were all women, and Channel 8’s own Megan Conway was honored to be a part of it.
It was called a “girl boss panel.”
The organization Lincoln G.O.L.D. organized it.
Juniors and seniors listened to women from different backgrounds and industries, and were able to ask any questions that came to mind.
“It has definitely helped me get out of my comfort zone, meeting new people, getting new opportunities that I’ll remember for the rest of my life and overall just having tons of fun,” said Ava Flood, Lincoln G.O.L.D. member.
The teens were able to learn how to become successful and do some networking.
