LPD: Nearly 2 lbs of meth found in North Lincoln residence

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — On Friday, just after 11 pm investigators with the Lincoln/Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force served a search warrant at a resident near Holdrege and N 56th Streets.

Authorities say they obtained information that the resident, 42-year-old Aaron Kuntz was selling large amounts of meth.

Kuntz and 30-year-old Kelsey Scholtes, who was visiting, were found in the kitchen and detained. During the search, 1.75 lbs of meth (estimated street value $7,000) and several other items of drug paraphernalia.

Nearly $920 was found on Kuntz’s person. He was arrested on several drug charges while Scholtes was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
