LSO seeing major spike in handgun purchase permits

LSO announced all applications will be handled via U.S. mail. It’s part of an effort to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The agency has seen a significant increase from its typical 5-10 requests per day amid the outbreak, now seeing 75-100 per day.
Applications and instructions can be obtained by downloading them at https://www.lancaster.ne.gov/231/Sheriffs-Office or calling (402) 441-6500 to have them mailed to you.
