Man caught again after peeking into northeast Lincoln home’s window, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The man accused of peeking into several northeast Lincoln homes was arrested again Wednesday.

Lincoln Police say a neighbor spotted 64-year-old Joseph Reyna looking into a bedroom window near 63rd Street and Havelock Avenue around midnight.

When officers arrived, they found Reyna, who started running toward an alley.  Eventually, officers caught up and took him into custody.

Reyna was arrested on suspicion of unlawful intrusion and criminal mischief.

Police said Reyna has been caught trespassing about 11 times since August 2021.

In March, Reyna was arrested twice after he was spotted peeking into a house and an apartment in northeast Lincoln.

In an arrest affidavit filed in January, investigators noted that Reyna has “previously been cited for peering into strangers’ residences in Nebraska since 1985.”
