Man suffers life-threatening injuries in motorcycle crash on O Street in Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a motorcycle crash near the intersection of 84th and O Streets, Lincoln Police say.
On Tuesday around noon, a Ford Explorer heading east on O Street turned left onto Russwood Parkway and struck a motorcycle that was going west.
The motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man, was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The driver of the Explorer, a 57-year-old woman, was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
Police say that no citations have been issued at this time and the investigation is ongoing to identify any contributing factors that led to the crash.
On Saturday, a 19-year-old was killed in a hit-and-run crash on O Street. Police are still searching for the driver that fled the crash.
