Many hit and miss storm chances
It’s that time of year. Storms are possible every day through the rest of the week, the weekend, and into next week. However, they are going to be very hit and miss. Some of us may see rain one day, then the neighboring city will see them the next. Let’s just hope that we all see some much needed moisture at some point!
We start the day on Thursday mild and in the lower 50s. We warm up quick, too!
Just about all of us get to around 80 degrees Thursday afternoon. If we don’t, it’ll be the upper 70s. The wind will be out of the south at 10 to 20 mph.
The dewpoint will get a little higher by Thursday, too!
With that added moisture and a frontal boundary moving across the state, we have a chance for storms Thursday afternoon and evening.
Storms may drift south into Thursday evening.
With this storm chance, there is a Marginal Risk for severe storms Thursday late afternoon. It’s a level 1 out of 5, so low, but not zero. Hail and damaging wind would be the main concerns.
