Many storm chances headed our way

There are several rounds of storms headed our way over the next few days. Not everybody will see storms, but the storms that do happen will have the potential for hail and damaging wind.

We start the severe weather potential Saturday afternoon and early evening. Storms will push through eastern Nebraska with those along and south of I80 in a level 1 “Marginal Risk” for severe weather.

Large hail will be possible with the storms that become severe.

Damaging wind will also be a possibility Saturday afternoon and evening.

State Forecast Highs Tomorrow

High temperatures will be much cooler to the west, much warmer to the east and southeast.

Moving into Sunday, there is another chance for severe weather across much of the state. There is a level 2 “Slight Risk” (above) for much of central and eastern Nebraska. A higher “Enhanced Risk” is in place further south.

State Forecast Highs Day After Tomorrow

Highs on Sunday will be similar to Saturday where it’s warmer to the east and cooler to the west.

We will eventually see a lot of 60s for highs next week with a couple of small storm chances Wednesday and Thursday. May will start off mild!
