Mild Thursday, cooler with rain by Friday
60s and 70s are going to be plentiful as high temperatures the next several days, which is pretty close to where we’re normally at this time of year. We need the rain, but there isn’t a lot of it in the extended forecast.
We will start Thursday off on a cool note with temperatures near 40. Things warm up fairly quick with 65 by noon and 70 by mid-afternoon. The wind will be light and out of the southwest.
Similar to the last couple of days, most of us will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Very typical for this time of year!
We do cool off quite a bit on Friday, but that’s because we’ll see a lot of clouds and maybe even some rain!
Rain will be in central Nebraska by early Friday. It will then work east and move into eastern Nebraska by late morning and early afternoon.
We’re not expecting a lot of rain, but a tenth to a half an inch will be possible.
