Missing inmate returns to Lincoln correctional center hours after going missing
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — An inmate reported missing last week is back in custody.
Correctional officials say Dakota Parrott, 30, turned himself in to authorities on Saturday morning.
Parrott was reported missing from the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln just the day before.
He was taken to the Reception and Treatment Center in Lincoln after turning himself in.

The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services says Parrott did not return to the facility after working his job on Friday.
His monitoring device was reportedly removed near 48th and Sumner Streets.
