MUST-SEE: Another car plunges off a Wisconsin freeway

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WISN) — Video catches the moments a driver plunges off a Milwaukee County Bridge.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The driver, a 27-year-old woman, did survive the fall. However, she was arrested once authorities arrived on the scene for driving under the influence.

According to the local Sheriff’s Office, she launched off a snowbank on the side of the freeway and plunged onto the interstate ramp below.

This is actually the second vehicle that plunged 70-feet off a Wisconsin highway.

Only two weeks earlier, a different freeway snowbank served as a ramp for a pickup truck. Again the driver did survive the fall.

Milwaukee County’s highway director said last week after the first round of plowing, crews go back and remove snow from bridges and ramps because of the danger.
