Mustache aside, Huskers’ Kade Warner continues to turn heads at fall camp
"I've done a good job being able to make plays when my number is called this fall camp," Warner said.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Anytime you look at Kade Warner he grabs your attention. Just take a look at that thick, black mustache.
“Trust me, I don’t think it looks good. I just think it’s funny,” Warner joked during a Zoom press conference on Thursday.
Mustache aside, Warner has been a headline name this fall camp as his teammates and coaches are singing his praises. And with an extremely young receiver corps, Warner has as good a chance as any to make a name for himself this season.
“I’ve done a good job being able to make plays when my number is called this fall camp,” Warner said.
It’s also expected that head coach Scott Frost will award Warner with a scholarship next week. Warner has 25 catches for 196 receiving yards during his career.
