Nate Schimonitz wrapping up historic career at Nebraska Wesleyan
The senior guard ranks third all-time in scoring for the Prairie Wolves.
When Nate Schimonitz shoots, 60 percent of the time he scores, every time.
The Nebraska Wesleyan senior shoots a blistering 57 percent from the field while averaging 25.8 points per game, good enough for 7th in the country.
He become the school’s third all-time leading scorer earlier this season and now needs just 40 points to reach 2,000 in his career.
“For Schim, he has such lofty expectations that his good games, are actually bad games for him,” said coach Dale Wellman.
Schimonitz and Nebraska Wesleyan host Simpson on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the ARC conference tournament semifinals.
