Troopers later learned that Angela had been with her husband, Jeffrey Adams, the previous night.  He was not home when authorities arrived to investigate, the patrol says.

Later on Sunday, Jeffrey Adams turned himself in at the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.  He was then arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder by patrol investigators.

The patrol said Jeffrey got into an argument with Angela and struck her “multiple times” before leaving the home.

An investigation is ongoing.
