Nebraska softball secures wins in both games against UNO
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska softball was victorious in its doubleheader against UNO on Wednesday.
The Huskers beat the Mavericks 2-1 in the first game and 11-3 in the second.
In the second game at Connie Claussen Field, Nebraska’s offense dominated, with home runs from Billie Andrews and Mya Felder, who led the Huskers with four RBIs.
Pitchers Sarah Harness and Courtney Wallace kept the Mavericks’ batters at bay, only allowing four hits the entire game.
Nebraska will now travel to Lawrence, Kansas for the Rock Chalk Challenge.
