OMAHA, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska Humane Society is looking for donations after more than 550 neglected animals were rescued from a Papillion home.

Many of the animals confiscated were exotic in nature.

“We have been blown away by our community’s response to the animals we recently confiscated. We have received hundreds of messages and thousands of comments across various platforms, which is truly appreciated. We promise we are working hard to get through those,” A social media post from NHS said.

First and foremost, NHS is looking for financial donations to help care for the animals.

Otherwise, they’re in need of certain supplies such as heat lamps, ceramic bulbs, and any kind of bird food and toys.

You can also apply to be a foster.
