Donovan Williams is going to be a Cowboy.

The North Star star basketball player announced his commitment to Oklahoma State on Monday. He chose the Cowboys over Kansas State and Texas.

Williams had committed to Nebraska before coach Tim Miles was fired in 2019. Williams decommitted from the Huskers during Fred Hoiberg’s first season at the helm in Lincoln.

The four-star recruit exploded in the second half of this past season for the Gators after missing the early part as he recovered from a torn ACL. He scored 28 points a game and grabbed eight rebounds this past year and received his second-straight Super State honors. He was also named Mr. Basketball.
