Northeast Lincoln vape shop burglarized for fourth time this year, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln vape shop has been burglarized for the fourth time this year, police say.
The Highest Cloud, near 48th and Fremont Streets, was broken into around 3:15 a.m. on Monday.
Police said the burglars took about $100 worth of products and caused about $1,000 in damage to the front door.
An investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
Since Feb. 11, The Highest Cloud has been burglarized four times.
In the first burglary, two people smashed the front door, took around $500 of merchandise and caused over $500 in damage.
Less than three weeks later, on March 2, video surveillance cameras caught a duo using a steel fence post to break the door again.
They stole around $100 in merchandise and caused over $500 in damage.
Only nine days after that, the store was targeted yet again, with the burglars causing over $1,000 in damage.
