Omaha authorities still searching for Nebraska homicide suspect

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The U.S. Marshals Metro Fugitive Task Force in Omaha is continuing its search for a man who has been on the run since January.

Romeo Chambers, 25, is wanted out of Kearney for homicide and for robbery out of Omaha.

The task force is still offering $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest of Chambers.

The award was initially announced in August.

Chambers who may also go by the name “Rowdy” has no known address.

He is described as a black male about 6ft. 2in. tall and weighs 165 lbs.

He has black hair, brown eyes and a distinctive “B” (Boston Red Sox logo) tattoo on the right side of his forehead.

Chambers should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Investigators have worked leads on this case in Omaha, as well as in Des Moines, Iowa, and Kansas City, Missouri.
