Police find 737 rounds of ammunition, drugs inside Lincoln home
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — One man is in custody after Lincoln Police say they found hundreds of rounds of ammunition, drugs and several stolen guns inside a home on Thursday.
Police say they were looking for a suspect in northwest Lincoln around 9 a.m.
Officers saw the man enter his home near North First Street and Oregon Trail but he did not come out when asked by law enforcement.
Members of the department’s fugitive task force eventually entered the home but couldn’t find the suspect.
Police did find 26-year-old Jazire Moore, who LPD says is an accomplice of the suspect they were searching for.
Inside the home, Lincoln police say officers found:
- 849g Marijuana
- 53 THC Vape Cartridge
- 737 rounds of ammuniton (.22, 9mm, .380)
- 3.5g of suspected cocaine
- $1,994 cash
- SCCY 9mm handgun (Stolen in Omaha)
- Sig Sauer 1911 .22 handgun (Stolen in Lincoln)
- Diamondback .380 handgun
Moore was arrested on suspicion of tampering with physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and possession of a firearm during a drug violation.
