Police identify motorcyclist killed in northeast Lincoln crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police have identified the motorcyclist who was killed Tuesday in a crash in northeast Lincoln.

The crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle happened around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of 84th and Holdrege Streets.

Police say an SUV was heading north when it turned onto Holdrege Street and struck a southbound motorcycle, which was driven by 21-year-old Braedon Timm.

Braedon was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police say.

The crash shut down the intersection until about 5:40 p.m.
