Rain chance early Friday, then heating back up
We have one more cool-ish day and one more decent chance for rain, then the heat returns.
The best chance for rain will be early Friday in SE Nebraska. Some areas may see over an inch of rainfall.
Spot showers and storms are possible across parts of Nebraska very early Friday. Quick downpours are possible in the yellow shaded areas with some spot flooding possible.
Highs on Friday will be a little warmer than the last couple of days. Still cooler than average for the eastern half of the state, but much warmer to the west.
The heat comes back on Saturday and will be sticking around through most of next week.
