Rain chances for the weekend

We’ve only seen three days of measurable precipitation in Lincoln in August and only one of those days did we get more than a quarter of an inch. Our next chance for measurable precipitation comes our way Saturday! We’ll see another chance for rain Sunday evening before drying up for much of next week.

Day Planner Vertical

Much of the day on Saturday will be dry with partly to mostly cloudy skies and temperatures eventually getting into the upper 80s and lower 90s. The chance for rain kicks in for the second half of the afternoon and into the evening hours. There is a small chance that we could see some strong to severe storms as a cold front sweeps across SE Nebraska.

After the storm chance Saturday, we’ll clear out and quiet down until another chance for rain comes our way Sunday evening.
