Rain returns Tuesday night including thunderstorms

A weather system moving out of the northern Rockies will bring another round of rain to southeast Nebraska Tuesday night and Wednesday.

The system will exit in to the Plains Tuesday afternoon.  Showers and thunderstorms will begin to break out from western Nebraska to central Texas Wednesday evening.  These will track to the east, eventually arriving in central and southeast Nebraska late Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

A few of these thunderstorms may be strong to severe in south-central Nebraska, however the best chance for severe storms will be in Kansas.

Off-and-on rain will continue throughout the day Wednesday.  Many locations could receive 0.75″ to 1.50″ of rain through Wednesday evening.
