Recall Alert: charcuterie-style meat and canned meat

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- If you were planning to make a charcuterie board, check the meats to make sure they are safe to eat. Over 50,000 pounds of ready-to-eat sausage products have been recalled. The USDA says its due to a possible listeria contamination.

The impacted products were produced on dates spanning from May 23, 2022 through November 25, 2022. If you have the recalled meat, throw it away or return it to the place where you purchased it.

According to the agency, eight SKUs under various brand labels are subject to the recall and bear the establishment number “EST. 54” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

Conagra Brands, Inc. is recalling over 2.5 million pounds of its canned meat and poultry products. There was a packaging defect that may cause the products to become contaminated without showing any outward signs of contamination.

The recalled meat and poultry products were shipped to stores across the country and produced between December 12, 2022 and January 13, 2023. The establishment number “P4247” is listed on the recalled cans. If you have the impacted products, throw them away or return them to the place you purchased it.
