LINCON – Scott Frost has spoken.

The Huskers head football coach released a powerful message on the death of George Floyd and the protests surrounding how he died.

“The recent tragedies in this country are unacceptable,” Frost wrote. “The senseless deaths that have occurred are inexcusable. We should all stand up against racism of any kind. It should have no place in this world.”

Frost is one of several Husker coaches to post their thoughts on social media recently. Men’s basketball coach Fred Hoiberg Tweeted this on Saturday.

Hoiberg played in Minneapolis and was a part of the Timberwolves organization early in his career.

Amy Williams, the Nebraska women’s basketball coach, also gave a powerful statement.
