Second Kwik Shop employee tests positive for COVID-19

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Within a week, two Kwik Shop employees test positive for the coronavirus, both at different locations.

The first was reported on Tuesday and identified as an employee at the Kwik Shop on Calvert Street. The location temporarily closed down to clean the store.

The second employee works at the Kwik Shop on Touzalin Avenue, leading to their temporary closure as well.

One of Kwik Shop’s Team Members at our 3602 Touzalin Avenue Lincoln, NE location has informed us that they have tested positive for Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are taking all appropriate steps following guidance from local health officials. We closed the store at 3:00 PM (EST) on Friday, November 6th to be cleaned and sanitized by an industrial cleaning crew. The store will re-open in the next few days. We are grateful to all our customers for your patience and understanding during this time.

All Team Members who work at the store have been contacted and advised to follow CDC-recommended guidelines. We are making every effort to provide the affected Team Member and our broader team with the necessary resources and support.
