Semi spills load of avocados on I-80 north of Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A semitrailer-truck spilled a load of avocados across Interstate 80 north of Lincoln on Monday, the Nebraska State Patrol says.

In a Facebook post, the patrol said troopers responded to the scene east of the I-80 and 56th Street interchange.

It is unknown what led up to the avocado spillage.

“Troopers unfortunately don’t carry tortilla chips for Interstate Guacamole accidents,” the patrol wrote.
