...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED MONDAY AFTERNOON
ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...

* WINDS...Southwest winds between 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30
to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15-20 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor
burning is not recommended.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...South Central Nebraska and North Central
Kansas Locations outside of the warning will still be expected
to reach elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
