Smoke and haze, cooler temperatures
The next 10 days don’t have a lot of precipitation chances until we get towards the end of next week. We cool down a little Friday and Saturday, but the 80s come back for highs all of next week.
Smoke has been an issue Thursday and that may continue into Friday. Because of this, an Air Quality Alert for the entire state of Nebraska is in place through noon Friday.
The visibility is low because of the smoke. This will continue through tonight into Friday.
Rain is in the forecast for Thursday into very early Friday, but it won’t amount to much.
Temperatures will struggle on Friday. With the added clouds/smoke and a gusty northwest wind, temperatures will struggle to get to 70 degrees.
