Spot showers through end of week, then weekend storms
After a few rain showers Thursday and Friday, a better chance for strong storms comes our way over the weekend.
A weak line of showers will push from north to south early Thursday. We may see a few sprinkles out of this.
However, that cold front that pushes through early Thursday will keep us from warming up too much. Lots of 70s and low 80s expected!
Looking ahead to Saturday into Sunday, most of Nebraska has a risk for severe storms. Timing, duration, and location is still being determined, but severe weather will be possible with storms that do form.
Above is what one of our StormCast weather models has for the storm threat Saturday into Sunday. This one has it moving through late Saturday while other models (not shown) have it moving through much sooner. We have time to fine tune those details, so stay tuned.
Most weather models show that there is a really good chance for quite a bit of rain. Hopefully if you need the rain, you see the rain!
