Storm chance continue into the end of the week
Scattered showers and storms will be possible on and off through the rest of the week. A few severe storms are possible, especially in the western half of the state. Temperatures will be on the warm side, too.
It’s still raining in some spots when this weather article was written, so there may be higher rainfall amounts than what you see above. However, it’s a step in the right direction to getting out of the drought.
For Wednesday, we have more rain chances. We may see a few strong to severe storms, so there’s a level 1 “Marginal Risk” in place for this threat.
Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, duration, and location of the storms.
The rainfall potential from the storms Wednesday into early Thursday is anywhere from very little to up to around an inch.
Highs on Wednesday will be very close to normal (82).
