Three car crash sends one to hospital

Officers say a black pick-up hit at least two parked cars, hit a home and flipped on its roof.

Lincoln Police were on the scene of a three-car crash Monday evening.

It happened around 8 p.m. near 10th and New Hampshire streets.

Officers say a black pick-up hit at least two parked cars before smashing into a home’s porch and flipping onto its roof. The driver of that pick-up was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Scanner reports say the pick-up was being removed from the scene and that there was no structural damage to the home.

However, Lincoln Fire and Rescue say Building and Safety are scheduled to inspect the integrity of the porch today.

No citations have been given. Police are still investigating the crash.

LPD tells Channel 8 that more information will be given at their daily media briefing on Tuesday morning.
