Three tornadoes confirmed in Stanton County in northeast Nebraska
STANTON COUNTY, Neb. (KLKN) — Three EF-1 tornadoes touched down in Stanton County on Friday, the National Weather Service says.
The weather service issued a record-breaking 50 tornado warnings in Nebraska that day, and now it is surveying storm damage to confirm tornado reports.
One of the tornadoes in Stanton County in northeast Nebraska traveled for 8 miles, taking off the side of a large hog barn and causing other damage.
Five tornadoes were confirmed in Burt and Dodge Counties.
One of them devastated two farmsteads.
