Storm chances are still in the forecast as we head through the rest of the week, but not on Thursday. Thursday will be warm and sunny.

With plenty of sunshine, highs on Thursday will be well above average. We’ll see lots of 70s and 80s and our average high is in the mid 60s!

A cold front will move across the state on Friday bringing in much colder air to the west while we remain warm in SE Nebraska.

Early Friday morning will be cold enough that we may see a little light snow in far western Nebraska.

Meanwhile, far SE Nebraska has a chance for strong to severe storms by mid afternoon. It will quickly move east out of our area.

Most weather models show the severe weather potential well to our southeast Friday afternoon, but it will be close enough that we need to keep an eye on it.

There may be a little rain/snow mix very early Saturday in Lincoln, then a cool Saturday afternoon. We warm right back up after that!
