Warmer than Average for Several Days
Heat and humidity is going to be around for the next several days. Our average high for mid to late July is around 90 degrees and each day will be above that.
Tuesday will be one of he warmer days out of the next few. With mostly sunny skies and a southwest to northwest wind at 10-25 mph, the high is expected to be in the upper 90s with a few spots potentially hitting 100 degrees.
The dewpoint will be in the middle 60s, so the heat index will be in the 90s with many of us at or just above 100 degrees.
This heat and humidity will continue for the next several days, too. While it won’t be record breaking heat or 100s for days on end, it will be very warm for a lengthy amount of time, including overnights when we usually cool off for at least a little while. So this is the time to check on those that might be more susceptible to the heat!
