Warming back up

Typically this time of year, our overnight lows drop into the middle 60s. That’s exactly what we’re expecting for tonight. It’ll be a quiet night, too, with mostly clear skies and a light southeast wind.

Klkn Tonight

The heat comes back on Friday. We’ll see highs in the middle and upper 90s, but when you factor in dew points that will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s, the heat index will climb into the lower 100s.

Klkn Hourly

We will see plenty of sunshine on Friday and a gusty southeast wind at 10 to 20 mph, gusting to around 25 mph.

The chance for precipitation will hold off through Friday, but we do get a small chance for rain Saturday afternoon. A little bit better chance comes our way Saturday night into Sunday.

Heading into next week, the temperatures will cool off a little to start the week, with highs in the middle and upper 80s. The 90s come right back for the second half of the week. Precipitation chances will be small.
