Warming up through the week, minimal rain chances
After a mild start to the week, the warmer weather will continue into the weekend. The chance for rain picks up over the weekend, as well.
We’ll start the day on Tuesday mild for most of us. 50s for much of the state, near 60 in eastern Nebraska.
It won’t be as mild on Tuesday, but still warm. We should be near 73 for the high this time of year.
The wind will be gusting up to 35 mph across the state much of the day on Tuesday. A cold front will sweep through during the day switching the wind from out of the southwest to northwest. No precipitation is expected out of it.
After a couple of warm and sunny days, we have a small chance for rain on Thursday (PM) then a better chance over the weekend. It’s going to get hot by the end of the week, too!
