WATCH: Man punches driver through SUV’s open window at Lincoln gas station
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police are searching for the man who punched a driver through the window of his SUV at a gas station.
The assault happened at the U-Stop on 33rd Street and Cornhusker Highway on May 10.
The victim had encountered the man, who smelled of alcohol, as he was arguing outside with someone else, according to police.
Police said the victim started driving away when the man accused him of trying to run him over.
He then walked up to the driver and punched him multiple times through an open window, security video shows.
By the time officers arrived, the man had left the area.
Police are also searching for a group of thieves who stole a Yamaha dirt bike at an apartment building near 54th Street and Leighton Avenue on May 9.
Security video shows three people loading up the bike in an older Chevy Silverado.
