Waverly’s Evan Canoyer does a little of everything for Vikings

Evan Canoyer is an all-state running back, one of the Vikings' top linebackers, along with being their punter and kicker on special teams. Oh, and the senior is looking for his second-straight state title in wrestling. 

WAVERLY, Neb. — You can call him the Swiss Army Knife of Waverly.

Evan Canoyer is an all-state running back, one of the Vikings’ top linebackers, along with being their punter and kicker on special teams. Oh, and the senior is looking for his second-straight state title in wrestling.

But the future Cornell University wrestler is going to do anything he can to help Waverly win a state championship on the gridiron as well.
