Week Ahead Forecast

Snow Totals

The snow is done and most of Lincoln saw just under two inches of heavy, wet snow. Areas around Omaha saw some very impressive amounts and ranged from 6 to 8.5″ of snow!

As we turn to a new week, it looks like the cold, Arctic grip is loosening up a little and we’ll actually see “normal” temperatures for a while. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies will be seen for just about all of the week ahead with highs in the lower 40s, which is very nice for a slow melting of the large snow pack we have in place.

The next chance for precipitation comes our way next weekend with a mix of rain and snow is looking possible with temperatures above the freezing mark for highs. We do, however, see some colder air moving back in briefly 8-10 days out, but that will be short lived.
