Winds decrease while temperatures increase

It has been a crazy end to the work week.  Winds gusting 60 to near 70 mph Thursday and Friday.  Some areas had snow Friday.  All of southeast Nebraska had colder temperatures Friday.

The winds will ease Friday night in to Saturday morning.  Instead of winds gusting 40 to 60 mph, they will gust 30-35 mph overnight.

We’ll see a bit more sunshine each day through the weekend.  With a little more sun afternoon temperatures will warm to the upper 30°s and 40°s.

SATURDAY:  Partly to mostly cloudy.  Breezy with northwest winds 6-15 mph.  Wind gusts to 20 mph.  Temperatures top out in the upper 30°s to lower 40°s.

SUNDAY:  Partly cloudy early giving way to mostly sunny skies by late afternoon.  Highs will be in the lower to middle 40°s.
