57 Nebraska officials endorse Patty Pansing Brooks for Congress

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A group of 57 current and former Nebraska officials endorsed Patty Pansing Brooks for Congress on Friday.

Endorsements came from state senators, city council members and school board members.

“I am honored to have the support of some of the best public servants in our state,” Pansing Brooks said.  “In running to change Washington, I look to our local leaders for inspiration.  The answers to our nation’s problems are found right here at home.”

Pansing Brooks will be running against Mike Flood in the upcoming special election to fill the 1st Congressional District seat left vacant by Rep. Jeff Fortenberry.

Fortenberry submitted his resignation two days after being convicted of lying to federal investigators.
