LPD investigating stabbing in north Lincoln 

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A 30-year-old man suffered minor injuries after he was stabbed Sunday morning, according to Lincoln Police.

Authorities said officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of N. 40th street around 2 a.m. to a report of an assault. When officers arrived, they found a 30-year-old man with a stab wound to the back of his thigh. He was rushed to a local hospital where police say he suffered minor injuries.

According to LPD, the victim and a group of friends arrived in the area and got into a verbal altercation with an unknown suspect. The altercation turned physical, and the victim said he was then stabbed.

No arrests have been made at this time, authorities said.

The investigation is ongoing.
