Kids Film Series at Marcus Theaters

Marcus Theatres recently announced its line-up of film titles for the Kids Dream Summer Film Series presented by American Family Insurance. For just $3, moviegoers can see family-favorite films back on the big screen on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m. between June 12 and August 17. Attendees can also enjoy concessions specials, including popcorn and fountain drinks for just $2.75 each.

Titles, dates and showtimes are subject to change. All titles will be shown in standard 2D and rated G or PG in accordance with standard MPAA guidelines. June 12-13, 15: “Norm of the North” – Rated PG
When a real estate development invades his Arctic home, Norm and his three lemming friends head to New York City, where Norm becomes the mascot of the corporation in an attempt to bring it down from the inside and protect his homeland.

June 19-20, 22: “Horton Hears a Who!” – Rated G
Horton the Elephant struggles to protect a microscopic community from his neighbors who refuse to believe it exists.

June 26-27, 29: “Minions” – Rated PG
Minions Stuart, Kevin and Bob are recruited by Scarlet Overkill, a super-villain who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world.

July 3-4, 6: “The Peanuts Movie” – Rated G
Snoopy embarks upon his greatest mission as he and his team take to the skies to pursue their arch-nemesis, while Charlie Brown begins his own epic quest back home to win the love of his life.

July 10-11, 13: “Home” – Rated PG
An alien on the run from his own people makes friends with a girl. He tries to help her on her quest, but can be an interference.

July 17-18, 20: “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip” – Rated PG
Through a series of misunderstandings, Alvin, Simon and Theodore come to believe that Dave is going to propose to his new girlfriend in Miami… and dump them. They have three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves not only from losing Dave, but possibly from gaining a terrible stepbrother.

July 24-25, 27: “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax” – Rated PG
A 12-year-old boy searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it, he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.

July 31-August 1, 3: Too exciting to announce!

August 7-8, 10: “The Lego Movie” – Rated PG
An ordinary Lego construction worker, thought to be the prophesied ‘Special’, is recruited to join a quest to stop an evil tyrant from gluing the Lego universe into eternal stasis.
