Nebraska Athletics partners with Altius Sports to improve NIL program

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska Athletics announced Tuesday that it has partnered with Altius Sports Partners to improve the school’s NIL program.
Altius Sports is a name, image and likeness advisory and education firm, according to a press release.
“We are committed at Nebraska to do everything we can to support the ability of our student-athletes to maximize name, image and likeness opportunities,” Nebraska Athletic Director Trev Alberts said. “I am excited to add Altius as a partner to assist us in the NIL realm. Their expertise, guidance and creativity will be an important component of Nebraska being a national leader in the area of name, image and likeness.”
The partnership will include guidance on the school’s NIL policy and develop a corporate partnership strategy.
Altius will also give NIL education to the school’s student-athletes, coaches and administrators.
“Nebraska is investing in the maximum level of support, education and resources to help its athletes and other stakeholders successfully navigate NIL,” said Andrew Donovan, Altius Sports vice president of collegiate partnerships. “We are proud to partner with the Huskers and bolster their efforts to prepare and thrive as a leader in the ongoing evolution of collegiate athletics.”
