State patrol responds to 28 crashes during western Nebraska snowstorm
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska State Patrol stayed busy in the western part of the state helping drivers out during a late spring snowstorm Monday.
Due to snowstorms in western Nebraska, a portion of Interstate 80 from Wyoming to Big Springs was closed.
During the storm, troopers responded to 28 crashes, according to a tweet from the patrol. They also assisted 61 drivers in the western part of the state.

Troopers posted photos in the area Monday and stressed that drivers drove slowly and carefully.
