LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Denton man was arrested Tuesday after a pursuit with deputies that ended with him rolling his vehicle over into a ditch, Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner said.

Around 12:45 a.m., deputies clocked a vehicle going 80 miles per hour near 54th Street and Wittstruck Road.

The driver, 20-year-old Kaedon Thurman, refused to stop, and deputies began a pursuit, Wagner said.

After about 2 miles, Thurman lost control and rolled into a ditch at 96th Street and Martell Road.  He was not injured in the crash, Wagner said.

Thurman was then arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest, DUI, speeding, willful reckless driving and no proof of insurance.
