Fire causes $250,000 in damage at Western store in south Lincoln
The Fort will be closed 'until further notice'
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A store in south Lincoln says it will be closed “until further notice” after a fire caused $250,000 in damage.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue responded to the blaze at The Fort, a Western apparel store, about 1 a.m. Saturday.
It took firefighters about 30 minutes to put out the flames, according to LFR Inspector Tom Schmidt.
The cause of the fire was electrical, Schmidt said, and no one was injured.
The Fort thanked LFR on Facebook for the “quick and brave action” of firefighters.
